INTRODUCTION
I am a Jamaican born entrepreneur, artist and social worker.
Formal education commenced at the St. Andrew High School for girls in Kingston. Formal training in fine arts later followed in Haiti.
Following my marriage to Rodwell Lake, an entrepreneur, my career direction where I became the owner and operator of the first Antique Furniture Store in Jamaica and then moving into the sphere of housing development.
My marriage produced three children, two boys and a girl.
a later marriage, continued to propel me into the line of business, becoming the first franchisee in Jamaica for the international restaurant chain, Burger King.
In 2002 another international franchise was acquired - Popeyes Chicken and Seafood, for Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean.
Along with such success in the sphere of business, I continued to develop and attain a greater appreciation for my first love - Art.
Receiving several acclaims both locally and internationally I have in recent times sought to use art in my work with inner city communicite, teaching Papier Mache as well as introducing a Craft Fair in downtown Kingston.
A vital link between Jamaica and Lithuania was established having had a successful Art Show in that country. It is through this friendship that I recently was able to send the L'Acado Dance Troupe to Lithuania in an effort of cultural exchange.
My objective is to further enhance our cultural and commercial experience to the benefit of both countries.
